The World Outside My Window
A collection of short stories and descriptive writing, inspired mainly by the natural world, but also by everyday life. Some observational, some more poignant, all describe familiar places and scenarios. Perfect for reading on the train, or for busy people who want to just dip in and read a chapter every now and then.
A tale of death, dalmatians and quite a few cups of tea.
When Debbie goes out for a run at her local country park, little does she know what events will unfold.
A short story in short chapters.
An eclectic mixture of creations – prose, poetry and a couple of different formats of flash fiction.
If you’ve enjoyed my other creative ramblings, you’ll probably like this one.
Introduction to Twitter
This book started life as a short course, run online for owners of small businesses. It is an introduction to Twitter for those who would like to start using it effectively to promote events, or build relationships with local people or businesses.
It could be helpful to:
(1) owners of small businesses, freelancers and sole traders who wish to promote products or services locally
(2) aspiring entrepreneurs researching their proposed market and interested in making new contacts nearby
(3) charities and community organisations wanting to raise their profile in their local area
(4) other organisations without a large budget wanting to explore Twitter as a promotional and relationship building tool.
It focuses on the UK and on local social media marketing, but the principles could be adapted.
